This year teens can choose to be "here" at the library for four different styles of events. Of course, you can choose them all if you want! We want YOU to Be Here!
Wii Sports League... June 8,9,10 and 15,16,17 from 3-5 pm
Join Julie and Greg in the Wii Summer League for fun and prizes.
Graphic Novel Workshop... June 22,23,24 and 29, 30 & July 1
from 3-5 pm
Have a great idea for a short graphic novel or want to figure one out? We'll help you get going and get it printed out with the help of some artists, some cameras, and some online magic.
Library Music Video Madness... July 6,7,8 and 13,14,15 from 3-5 pm with Lorene Lewison
We're going to rock the library world with some awesome music and fun lyrics... and we want YOU to be here to help! You don't have to be a super singer to be a superstar in this music video! Just bring your willingness to practice and follow directions, and You can "be here" on stage!
Library Summer Theater Camp... July 20,21,22 and 27,28,29 from 3-5 pm with Robin Griggs
Love to act? Robin wants YOU to "be here" in her acting camp. Just like the music video camp, you don't have to think you're really hot stuff to have a part in this show. You just have to be willing to show up and let Robin help you cut loose!
What about reading for prizes and all that????
Oh yes, just like always, you can keep track of your reading during the summer and earn some cool prizes. Check with Julie or Greg on how to set your personal goal and keep track! Whether you want to keep track on paper or online, we've got you covered!
