Tax Season Begins
Tax Season Begins
4/16/2012 1:51:20 PM
It's that time of year again to start thinking about filing your taxes. The IRS has stopped sending paper tax packages to individuals and businesses but
all forms are available online at the IRS website.
IMPORTANT:
The Iowa Department of Revenue is also no longer sending paper tax packages to individuals, businesses, or libraries. Instead,
all forms are available online at the IDR website
. Musser Public Library will also provide laminated copies of the most commonly requested forms that can be copied at a cost of 15 cents a page.
The library will also carry paper forms from the IRS.
There is also free tax help available starting Feb. 1, 2012 on Mon. & Wed. at the Salvation Army, 1000 Oregon St. You may call 211 or 1-563-355-9900 to set up an appointment.
Please call the Library for additional information-563-263-3065.
